In pursuit of the growth objectives, Givaudan Jaguaré invests in the enlargement of its facilities to house the areas of Fragrance Laboratory and Fragrance Management by renting space near the headquarters. It also started an engineering study to adequate the new site.
In November, due to the Givaudan-Quest integration process, the Vinhedo unit became a branch of Givaudan Jaguaré.
In spite of the worldwide financial crisis, Givaudan remains optimistic about the market and is programming the most significant investments, optimizing stock level and negotiating with suppliers and customers.
